Peter Kattan is an interdisciplinary artist and designer with over 15 years of experience spanning fine art, branding, advertising, and user experience. His practice is driven by a passion for creating meaningful, human-centred work that communicates powerful ideas through form, material, and spatial experience. He brings a fresh, big-picture perspective to his work, supported by a strong formal education that includes a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and a Diploma in Fine Arts.

Peter has participated in numerous exhibitions and has completed permanent art installations in residential and commercial buildings throughout Toronto. His work also extends into furniture design, with a collection showcased at the Interior Design Show (IDS), where functional objects are approached as sculptural, conversational pieces.

Collaboration is central to Peter’s practice. He regularly works alongside fabricators, welders, and specialized suppliers, overseeing projects from early concept through fabrication and installation. This hands-on, end-to-end approach ensures both artistic integrity and technical precision.

His multidisciplinary background spans large-scale installations, sculptural design, and spatial storytelling. Through years of experience designing for high-traffic environments, Peter has developed a deep understanding of material performance over time and how people interact with space, texture, and form. His installations often combine natural materials, engineered surfaces, and custom components, resulting in works that are both durable and emotionally resonant.

Across his practice, Peter strives to create artworks that invite curiosity and engagement. He believes art should be more than an object—it should be a meaningful encounter that encourages connection, playfulness, and reflection.
